XPressRT¶
XPressRT is where you write down a test procedure and then run it.
A procedure holds test cases; a test case holds steps. A step either tells the operator what to do and waits for an answer, or it records a value and compares it against its limits. While the run goes on, XPressRT writes the record: every step with its outcome, every reading against its limits, the serial number of the unit, who tested and when.
It runs in the browser. There is nothing to install, no account to create, and nothing leaves the machine you test on.

Open the app, run the example that ships with it, and read the record it produced. Ten minutes, no hardware.

What you need¶
A current browser — Chrome, Edge or Firefox — and the address of your XPressRT installation. Nothing else. The application runs inside the page, including the test runner itself, so it works on the machine that stands at the bench without that machine having to run a server.
