Hosting and server logs

This documentation is served as a static website hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps, a service provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland) and Microsoft Corporation (USA).

When you access the site, the hosting infrastructure may process technical data required to deliver the pages, for example IP address, date and time of the request, browser type and referrer. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating the site securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Hosting takes place in a data center in the West Europe Azure region (Netherlands), that is, within the EU. A data processing agreement (Microsoft Products and Services Data Protection Addendum) is in place with Microsoft. Where data is transferred to Microsoft Corporation in the USA, Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies beyond what the browser needs to display the pages, and it uses no web analytics and no tracking. Nothing is loaded from third-party servers to profile your visit, so no consent banner is required.

Should we add analytics in future, it will only load after you have given consent, and this policy will be updated before that happens.

The site search runs entirely in your browser. The search index is downloaded with the page and queried locally; your search terms are not transmitted to us or to a third party.

Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep that correspondence for as long as required to handle the matter and to meet statutory retention periods.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access to your personal data (Art. 15)
  • rectification (Art. 16)
  • erasure (Art. 17)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • data portability (Art. 20)
  • object to processing (Art. 21)

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For RX-Systems GmbH the competent authority is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or to legal requirements. The current version always applies.
